Round Table on Maharashtra State Urban PolicyOn 22 April 2026, a Round Table on the theme “Maharashtra State Urban Policy” was held at the Pune International Centre, Pune. The brainstorming discussion aimed to initiate a process through which the contours of a state urbanisation policy could be developed, saw participation by policymakers, practitioners, scholars, and domain experts.The core team that conceptualised the event comprised Dr. Nitin Kareer, Prof. Pradip Kalbar, Dr Himanshu Kulkarni, Dr Himanshu Burte, and Dr Malini Krishnankutty from the Ashank Desai Centre for Policy Studies (ADCPS) and the Department of Energy Science and Engineering (ESED), IIT Bombay; Prof. Amita Bhide from Tata Institute of Social Sciences; and economist Prof. Abhay Pethe.
