Dr Nitin Kareer is a former Chief Secretary for the Government of Maharashtra. He is a Medical Doctor by discipline, a member of the Indian Administrative Services since 1988, and retired as Chief Secretary, Government of Maharashtra in 2024.
Dr Kareer has a long, illustrious career and has been associated with IIT Bombay as a Director on the Board of IITB Research Park Foundation since May 2017 (8 years).
