🎉 We are delighted to share that our alumnus Dr Satish Kumar has joined the M S Swaminathan Research Foundation (MSSRF) as Principal Scientist – Policy (Agriculture & Livelihoods), based in New Delhi.In this role, Satish will be building MSSRF’s policy presence in Delhi, translating field research into policy briefs and recommendations, and engaging with ministries, NITI Aayog, ICAR, and donor partners on food and nutrition security, climate resilience, and smallholder livelihoods.Satish completed his PhD at ADCPS on “Agriculture-Nutrition Pathways in Semi-arid India,” under the supervision of Prof. K Narayanan. During his time at the Centre, he was awarded the Fulbright Association-Nehru Doctoral Fellowship at Cornell University and the Commonwealth Split-site Scholarship at the University of Cambridge.We congratulate Satish on this new role and wish him continued success!
