The RISE Summit is our flagship Partnership event for Sustainability & CSR and is running successfully into the 7th year. The RISE Summit has grown from a one-city-2-day event to a two-city-6-day event attended by decision makers, practitioners and policy makers from 4 key stakeholder groups – Government, Corporate, NGOs and Academia. A rich network built over years, who come together to undertake successful projects and knowledge collectives post summit. It is also global in outlook with a Country focus each year – UK, USA, Canada, Germany, the Baltic Countries and Sweden till date and with multiple country partners since 2019.
The RISE Summit has been designed to deepen and widen the development agenda and has multiple innovations in design, content and execution based on single objective – Collaborations. Beyond an Unconference, it is truly unique with no panels or presentations. All activity formats focus on breakthrough interactions with outcomes for all through cross-sectoral dialogue and capacity building. Subject Matter Experts facilitate Roundtables, Chat tables, Workshops, Clinics, Film Festival, Open Mic, Exhibition, Conclaves, Human Library, Mixer, World Gallery, Social Tours, Contests, Surveys and more.
This years’ theme, “Citizenship, Entrepreneurship and Partnerships for the SDGs” will help to broad base participation and accelerate development for all. This objective has significant synergy with the mission of India’s social inclusion and sustainable development agenda and seeks to build on the outcomes of the summit through policy and programmes of national importance. The RISE Summit has been co-created with our Knowledge Partners, Expert Groups, Core Committee members and Co-hosts, most of whom have been with us for multiple years. Our Country Partners this year are Germany, Sweden and UK. Information on past RISE Summits and the agenda for this year can be found on www.risesummit.in.
