Dr Rahul Suresh Sapkal was awarded the Best Paper and Rudra Dutta Young Labour Economist Award at the 64th Indian Society of Labour Economist Annual Conference held at the University of Hyderabad between 29–31 March 2024. The prestigious award is conferred for conducting innovative studies in labour economics/studies.

We are honoured to welcome Hon'ble Shri Justice Uday Umesh Lalit, Former Chief Justice of India, as a 'Distinguished Visiting Professor' at Ashank Desai Centre for Policy Studies, Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
Dr Sundeep Oberoi has been a part of several standardization related committees in the Bureau of Indian Standards. He has led several technical panels and committees as well as advisory committees. He is active in the field of International Standardization and is in leadership positions in both ISO (International Standards Organization) and IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission). He has been recently nominated to the Standards Management Board of the IEC. Dr Oberoi was felicitated, for significant contributions to the field of standardization, by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the occasion of World Standards Day on 14th October 2022 at the BIS Headquarters building in New Delhi.
